Starting in early September 2022, Harvey E. Oyer Jr. Park, a popular location for boaters to launch their vessels, closed to the public for two months for repairs.

Ferreira Southern was the prime contractor and was responsible for repairing four existing boat ramps, replacing three floating docks, resurfacing portions of the existing driveway and adjacent boat ramps, and relocating coral.

The much-needed improvements to the boat ramps enhanced boaters’ access to the park and its amenities.
